On this album Pepper Keenan took over vocals for COC, it came out durring the grunge days and both Albatross and Clean My Wounds were decent hits on modern rock radio. Gone were the hardcore Black Flag influenced songs of COC's early albums and it's apperant that Pepper Keenan brought in alot of Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynyrd influence and some seriously good song writing chops.
