Johnny Cash - Unchained (1996)This is one of my favorite Johnny Cash recordings ever. This record proved that the colaboration between Cash and producer Rick Rubin was indeed a good venture. This time Rubin brought a literal supergroup of musicians in to back Johnny Cash including Tom Petty, Flea, and Mick Fleetwood. Also you get Johnny Cash covering Soundgarden. What was Rick Rubin Smoking the day he came up with that one? I don't know, but I want some.
